Emma said, "Yesterday it was my birthday but we celebrated it today at school.  I got to pick something out of the Birthday Box.  I picked out a gingerbread house snowglobe and I brought in cupcakes for everyone.  My mom made a special cupcake for me, it had an 'E' on it and it was my favorite color which is pink."

Kenney said, "For Must Do's today we did  a short e paper and I was the first one to finish.  I went to the computer for Centers when I was done with Must Do's."

Alix said, "We planted flowers.  They will grow from a seed called a bulb."

Gabe said, "We learned about a holiday called St. Nicholas Day.  We put poems in our books and made a shoe and hope there is candy in it from St. Nicholas tomorrow."

Ava screamed, "We went to music and gym.  At gym we played with a rocket blaster.  It was a type of frisbee that you can put on your finger and spin around.  You can do tricks with it like throwing it up in the air and catching it on your finger.  We also played a type of frisbee with cotton inside it.  Aeralyn, Julianna and me played Monkey in the Middle and we wentout side and played frisbee golf!"

Serenity stated, "Ava, Logan, Aeralyn, Josh and I played in the sandbox and we had a lot of buckets and we pretended we had ice cream in the buckets.  It was all chocolate ice cream with strawberry and vanilla with wood chips that we pretended were sprinkles and I was the customer and Sergei was the customer too.  We had a lot of fun!"

Ava said, "We went to art and we made outer space and it was with planets that were the  colors of pink, green, blue, red, orange and purple.  I made it all of those colors and I made 10 planets.  The next time we go we will make a ship to put on our outer space project.  We even brought our snowmen wrapped up with paper and 2 rubber bands over the paper home."

Tommy shouted, "Today at math we did a Guess What's in the Pocket? game and it was a tiny red triangle.  It was fun to play the game, I liked it because it was fun to play.  We did Sergei's game.  Karolina was the winner."

Brendan chimed in, "We had  handwriting this morning and we did letters A, H, and K.  I did not do very good because I have don't have any of those upper case letters in my name."

Leon yelled, "Today we went to gym and we played Star Wars on the trestle tree and I gave a light saber to Brendan and the teacher said you need to give the light saber to Logan because he didn't have a turn."

Alex said, "We went to physical education today. On the free set there was equipment which was really fun."

Nadine said, "Today and yesterday Mrs. Frascarelli said our numbers. We have to sit in our number on the riser. We can sing if we know what the song says or we can do the moves."

Anderson said, "We finished learning about the chinstrap penguin and we did the weight and the height and I drew all of the penguins that we did on the cover of the book."

Benjamin said, "We learned about the chinstrap penguin today. The chinstap penguin can lay 2 eggs and can weigh 9pounds and the height is 28inches."

Julianna said, "We had library and computer. At computer we went to SpellingCity."

Sam said, "Today we had extra recess and Ava, Ayanna, Tommy, Anderson, Benjamin, Serenity, and I played Antartica. We decided our own penguins to be. I was an emperor penguin. It was fun!"

Ava said, "We went to gym. We went on the trestle tree again but there were different kinds of play stuff. I went on all of them. My favorite was the climbing and swinging."

Logan said, "We had a new penguin today. It was called the Little Blue Penguin. It has a lot of predators. Sometimes in Australia and in New Zealand at night people watch the Little Blue Penguins get out of the water and onto the shore."

Brendan said, "We went to physical education this afternoon and we went on something called a trestle tree."

Ben M. said, "One of our homeworks that was due on Friday was to show how many fortune cookies that each student in our class could eat. There were 100 fortune cookies and 20 students. The answer was 5 and I was the only one that took the challenge."

Sam said, "We made a birthday book for Alex. He is 7 years old."

Ava said, "We went to music and we read a book on the Smartboard.  We played a game called Grizzly Bear and there is a song that went to it.  We went to gym and played basketball and there was lots of kinds and types of basketball games and I played Pirates."

Logan said, "We had Math Workplaces this afternoon.  We learned a new one today.  It was called Spin and Add."

Mrs. LeFevre said, "Today we got our 100th star!  We picked our Mystery Reward and on Monday we are going to have Sport's Day!  We can wear clothes from professional teams or we can wear clothes from a team or activity that we were in."
