Lina said, "We made snowflakes because winter is tomorrow."
Julia said, "We had an assembly and Mrs. LeFevre and Mr. Kronisch were so funny. Mr. Kronisch had funny glasses on and he picked fake popcorn out of the bucket and Mrs. LeFevre pretended to pour fake hot cocoa in his head!"
Amelia said, "Today Kyleigh's mom came in and gave us cookies. They were covered in powdered sugar and that was my favorite part. They were called Chrusciki."
Chieh- Er said, "We went to gym and played hockey and if we didn't want to play hockey we played tag in the cafeteria."
Riley said, "We did fact families. 6+5=11, 5+6=11, 11-5=6, 11-6=5.
Nevaeh said, "We went to art and we painted our snowmen. I also made a bead necklace."
Gwen said, "Tomorrow is Amelia's birthday but today we got the snack because her parents couldn't do it tomorrow. The snack was pretzels but on the top was chocolate and sprinkles."
Lina said, "We made St. Lucia sweet rolls. We got to eat it at the end of the day. Some people had raisins on theirs and some did not."
Ben said, "Today we had P.E. and music. In P.E. we played hockey with the red team and the blue team."
Kyleigh said, "Today we made Lucia Day crowns and hats. We had to put candles on the crowns."
Adonis said, "We played hockey today and it was really fun. First it was 2 on 2 then it was 3 in 3."
Jonas said, "Mrs. Tinnell came and taught us about oil. Oil is important because if a metal thing is rusty you can put some oil on it and it will make it slippery so it can move again like on a bike. "
Deanna's said, "Today in the morning when we walked in we had treats in our shoes! It was St. Nicholas Day!"
Ximena said, "Today we heard about short o. Some words like octopus, opera and ostrich start with short o."
Jonas said, "We went to the Children's Museum. We had a class about science experiments and we made a liquid and a solid together which was a colloid."
Julia said, "We went in the whale and everyone screamed so much because they were enjoying it so much or they were afraid if the jaws because it had so many holes in it."
Kyleigh said, "I liked dressing up as a girl pharoh."
James said, "The gold in the King Tut part of the museum was cool. There was a golden statue that was a dog. We also saw a mummy."
Jamie said, "Nevaeh, Joey, Chieh-Er , me and my dad played basketball at recess."
Lina said, "We did math and we had to figure out math problems. Jamie, Riley, Kyleigh and Amelia wrote the problems."
Mrs. LeFevre said, "I am excited about our field trip tomorrow!"
Jamie said, "Today we did math today amd Mrs. Clark and I played Frog Jump. We were practicing adding and subtracting."
Jonas said, "We learned the basics of endings. ED can make a t sound, ed sound or a d."
Julia said, "We did our handwriting books and worked on letter e."
Eric said, " We wrote a note to the people at Vinton School that have been helpful to us."
Ximena said, "We did math together. Neveah and I did a game called WHO HAS MORE CENTS? PENNIES AND NICKELS and it was fun and I got to win."
James said, "Today at recess we had Mileage Club and I got my 5th toe token. I am on my 3rd card."
Julia said, "We had music and we practiced our Thanksgiving song for the feast."
James said, "We were here in the morning and we saw how much snow got added up and the whole field is covered in snowflakes!"
Deanna said, "We did our handwriting and with our books we did the letter 'a'. Letter a starts like Magic 'c' and goes into an 'o' and then an 'a'."
Lina said, "We did our Poem Books. We did a poem about November."
Eric said, "Yesterday we carved a pumpkin. Today we put a candle in it and it looks pretty cool lit up. It looks like a vampire pig!"
Amelia said, "Today we counted 250 seeds out of our pumpkin. We counted by 10's."
Riley said, "We did math and we learned a game called Bugs in the House Subtraction. "
Gwen said, "Today we had an assembly and Julia and Jamie became Outstanding Owls because they are respectful."
Jonas said, "We had PE and music today. PE was first and we started with a lap and there were new things out today."
Chieh-Er said, "We made scarecrows. We had to cut, glue a speech bubble and color the scarecrow."
Gwen said, "We had music and we got a Jolly Rancher and played Bingo. We got it because we were listening and filled our chart up."
Adonis said, "Today we played a frog jump game to learn about adding using the frogs on a number line."
Deanna said, "We learned about fire safety today and we also know that we are not supposed to pull the fire alarms when there is no fire."
Julia said, "We went to library and computer. We went to a new program in computers and it was called Mathosaurus 1."
Nevaeh said, "Today was my birthday and I am 7!"
Kyleigh said, "We finished our sticker chart in music. When we fill our chart up we get a Jolly Rancher and we get to play bingo."
Riley said, "We did gym. We practiced exercises."
Ximena said, "Today it was Deanna's birthday. She is 6 years old!"
Ben said, "We were learning about fall. We wrote about things you hear, smell, and see when it is fall. "
Jonas said, "Today we wrote our Weekend News. We were telling about what we did this Saturday and Sunday. Mine was about me and dad inventing and I went bowling."
Lina said, "Today we glued in our poem books. We put in a poem about leaves and we highlighted all of the describing words."
Jamie said, "We did our handwriting book. We wrote the numbers and words for 6,7,8,9 and 10."
Eric said, "We had indoor recess today and I went to the art room. I played with Play Dough there."
Kyleigh said, "We learned how to write number 9 and 10 in our handwriting book. It was the last number."
Riley said, "Today we did math. First we sorted frogs by dots, no dots and stripes and no dots. Then we drew a graph if it."
Amelia said, "We played with new math materials. They were buttons. I sorted them by pretty and not pretty with Deanna."
Ximena said, "We were learning about vowels. It was so fun and we read a book called It Begins With An A."
Chieh-Er said, " We learned how to sort bugs by number of legs, stripes and no stripes."
James said, "We did Cast a Spell today. It was fun making -at words like cat."
Adonis said, "We practiced learning about our class rules by tossing a beanbag and answering the questions."
Gwen said, "We wrote a poem about fall."
Julia said, "Amelia and I were trying to find the black papers and I asked Mrs
LeFevre. They were for the pattern block work place."
Eric said, "We did our class journal!"
