Max said, "We went to an assembly and we saw a storyteller.  The storyteller told some stories and one story was about Martin Luther King, Jr."

Alexander said, "We did a Happy Birthday paper for our school.  I gave our school lots of money and a phone.  The school is 60 years old."

Emma said, "We did an experiment about he polar seas.  We found out that if you put 5 ice cubes in it makes the water freezing.  We got it to about 30 degrees F.  It was soooo freezing!"

Thursday's News

Joey said, "We pretended we went to Antartica and we played an Antartica game."

Evan said, "We had computer.  It was our first time to go on a money game.  I got 58 cents."

Esme said, "We had crazy hat day today because yesterday we got a reward for having 100 stars.  I didn't bring a hat because I kind of didn't want to wear one.  This morning I borrowed a hat from Mrs. LeFevre and took it off and on."

Thursday's News

 Rosie  said, "We made Clara's Birthday Book.  I made Clara her own fairy garden.  Her mom brought in a rose cake."

Joey said, "Today in music we watched a video.  It was funny because the alligator came out of the water and they put the ballerina music on."

Tuesday's News

Alix said, "We learned about Antartica.  We had to put our first name and last name, our height, our weight, our birthdate, and our state and country on our passports.  We also had to add the picture."

Gabe said, "We went to gym.  The boys were on one side and the girls were on one side and we played hockey.  I took the puck and tried to hit in the goal but Joey was really fast and he hit it right in our crease.  We scored."

Thursday's News

Kenney said, "My dad came in to teach us about the Chinese New Year.  My dad and I taught everyone about Chinese New Year.   I was very, very, very excited."

Jeremy said, "In computer lab I read a story on the computer and then Mrs. LeFevre can listen to the story I read."

Emma said, "My mom came in to read us a story today, it was called Here Comes Darrel.  The dog, Buster is my favorite character.  The story was about Darrel fixing a roof so it wouldn't blow off and in the book it kept on changing seasons."

Wednesday's News

Rosie said, "We went to music and got all of our stickers on our little chart so we got to play Bingo.  I got 2 sets of stickers."

Esme said, "We study about whales today and people had a lot to say.  We learned that the tail has 2 flippers basically that are called flukes.  I wrote about humpback whales."

Alizabeth said, "We did Writer's Workshop but I couldn't write that much because I had to go somewhere.  I was going to write about my vacation."

Abby said, "We learned about Martin Luther King, Jr.  He had a dream that things would be fair."

Gabe said, "We went to gym and we played hockey.  We had to hit the puck into the goal.  There were 2 goals, one is red and one is blue."


Evan said, "We did Penguin Probibility.  The orange table and the green table were the red trapezoids and the blue and orange table were the blue rhobuses.  The rhombuses won."

Tuesday's News

Alix said, "Today we did a paper about Three Kings Day.  We wrote some ideas down about what happens on Three Kings Day."

Alizabeth said, "We went to gym and we played hockey.  I got 2 partners each game.  In the first game it was Joey and then Max.  We won each game because we each took turns and we won because we got 4 points and the other team got 3."

Monday's News

Alexander said, "Today my grandma came in to school to teach us about Three Kings Day.  We got a Three Kings coloring paper."

Joey said, "We did our Weekend News.  I wrote about the toy I got.  It was an action figure."

Thursday's News

Jeremy said, "Today we did lobster problems.  We had to figure out how much half of the lobsters was and how much in all."

Clara said, "We had computer and library this afternoon.  In library I got a fairy book.  It was called Scarlet the Garden Fairy."

Wednesday's News

Max said, "We went to gym and we played hockey.  I was partners with Alexander and we were on the red team."

Alexander said, "For Must-Do's we did a Kwanzaa paper and we had to make a list of what we came up with about Kwanzaa.  One of the things we learned is that it is an African-American holiday and it is kind of like Hanukkah because they both have a candle holder."

Tuesday's News

Matthew said, "At gym we played hockey.  We used balls or pucks to hit them in between the cones because those were the goals."

Joey said, "We did Vacation News and I wrote about when I went to my grandma and grandpa's.  I had fun because we went to watch a movie on the couch."
Mrs. LeFevre said, "We celebrated Matthew's birthday today!  His real birthday was on December 29th and we were not in school."
